Excel gears are Designed by Richmond engineers with more than 70 years experience in gear design and manufacturing. Each detail in the manufacturing of Excel gears has the Richmond stamp of approval. The gear design, tooling, material selection, heat treat recipes and quality requirements are specified by Richmond. Each gear carries Richmonds 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects.     

High Performance steel spool is made from the highest quality materials to ensure high strength and long life in performance applications. Spools provide 100% power to both tires at all times and are a lower cost alternative to lockers. Spools are not recommended for street driven vehicles.

Premium master install kit uses only the highest quality components including Koyo brand bearings. Included are carrier bearings and races, pinion bearings and races, pinion seal, complete shim kit, ring gear bolts, pinion nut, crush collar, threadlock, marking compound, brush, and gasket or RTV silicone.
