The GM 10.5" Grizzly Locker is an insertable type locker which installs into the factory open carrier, it does not replace the entire carrier case.
Master Install Kit
Premium master install kit uses only the highest quality components including Koyo brand bearings. Included are carrier bearings and races, pinion bearings and races, pilot bearing, pinion seal, complete shim kit, pinion nut, crush collar (if applicable), ring gear bolts, marking compound, brush, and gasket or RTV silicone.
Application: 1998-2015 GM 10.5" Chevy 14 Bolt Rearend (with full float bolt in axles only) (pilot bearing may not fit 1985-1986 model years)
Compatible Carrier: 3.42-4.10 (3-series) Standard Open (will not fit Posi/Locker type differentials)

after having a headache with teraflex crd60 dana super 60 axle constantly bending and snapping shafts with my 40 inch tires... i decided it was time to build a chevy 14 bolt axle for my 2007 jeep wrangler. doing the math rons machining service had the best package deal for me to regear the axle to 5.38. there's no review for elite gears but so far during break in i'm happy the gears were easy to setup and no noise. for anyone running the 5.38 elite gears in your 14 bolt, save time by not running no pinion housing shim, 99% certain your gear pattern will be spot on perfect.
